“My rugs are translated from simple watercolour sketches. Unconsiously, I return to a theme I have worked with in periods. for me working with Silhouette is just the beginning of a long and exciting journey. I have worked with textiles and fabrics in different contaxts, but never as concrete as in these rugs. rugs are sensuous. the affect the mood of a room. The affect sound, light and colour. We walk on them. sometimes with bare feet.”
