Roger Persson born in 1967 in Karlskrona, trained as an industrial designer at HDK / Gothenburg University and has studied furniture design at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Since 2009 he runs his design studio Roger Persson Design, which designs furniture and other products – everything from lighting, switches to toys and bathroom furniture.

In his collaboration with Kateha has Roger this far designed three rug collections, whereof two woven and one tufted rug.
