in diagonal design has the same mathematical ratio as the col our blend in the two contrasting colour fields. The design honours with great respect the method by
which colours and colour variations are combined in the rug making process, while simultaneously offering a deceivingly simple, graphic gesture for the interiors in which the rugs live.



Brad Ascalon, earned a Masters degree for Industrial Design from New York’s Pratt Institute  (2005), and opened the frequently award winning Brad Ascalon studio in Manhattan 2006.  Brad is a third generation designer, who from an early age learned the values of craftsmanship, materiality and rigor.
